Dave Whiting has a broad professional interest across a wide spectrum of topics associated with sustainability - from developing regional products associated with potential climate change impacts to working with community groups to map their communities' assets.  As both a planner and agrologist it is natural for Dave to be actively involved in agriculture and food planning initiatives in a number of communities in southern British Columbia. Dave's continuing involvement at Thompson Rivers University where he teaches a senior undergraduate course, "Natural Resource Policy and Planning", gives him a strong foundation for undertaking natural resource policy review and analysis projects.

There are five broad categories of projects listed in the drop-down menu that represent Dave's recent activities.  Click on the links to find examples of projects in each category.
