Dave Whiting is a planner, agrologist and educator based in Kamloops, British Columbia.  He applies his skills and experience to developing products, policies and processes that contribute to sustainable communities, sustainable economies, and sustainable ecosystems.  He works both as a consultant and as a part-time instructor at Thompson Rivers University where he teaches in the Bachelor of Natural Resource Science Program

Many of Dave's consulting projects are undertaken on behalf of organizations that foster sustainable initiatives in the southern region of British Columbia including the Fraser Basin Council, Thompson Rivers University, Make Children First, government agencies and the North Thompson Watershed Committee.

Dave often partners with other consulting planners and agrologists on agricultural area plan projects for local governments.  He also draws on a group of associates with specialized skills in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), report writing and editing, and weather/climate data interpretation.  Dave develops and hosts websites to support planning initiatives as well as to serve the business needs of professionals.
